Remember the UK music weeklies? remember when there were three of them out every week reporting on the latest sounds and looks from the British Isles. All 3 seemed to have there own niche and as something of an outsider Sounds was particularly good on lowdown, gobshite street punk, the kind of stuff that retained an uncompromising working class sneer whilst making a racket of its own. Jourmalist Garry Bushell was their main main responsibly for reporting back from off the beaten tracks-boozer and street punk sounds.
