60’s Boutique’s

The boutique really came of age in the 60’s with John Stephens kick starting the legend that became Carnaby Street. The explosion in youth culture and pop fashion created an almighty demand for new, vital and up to the minute stores selling increasingly way out styles for this new generation to shop in. Here’s some images – ¬†originally from rave magazine – but sourced from the Sweet Jane Pop Boutique blog. I’ve only just seen this blog but it’s a must-trawl-through for any fan of classic vintage boutique style.
